If MS felt that it was going to be a problem they should have : sniped this when it was starting up. : /my2cents There is no conspiracy at work here nor is there any evil plot to make this as painful as possible for Halogen. The fact of the matter is: 1. Microsoft is a behemoth company that doesn't exactly move fast. 2. Halo today isn't what it was two or three years ago. 3. Halogen has garnered more and more buzz and attention as the project progressed. It wasn't really on anyone's radar initially. I agree it would've been great to stop it all before the work was put into it but it didn't happen that way. For what it's worth, I'm working with the legal folks at MS to put together some documentation for Bunige.net to shed some light on intellectual property rights and what is, and isn't "cool" in regards to Halo in an attempt to avoid these types of scenarios in the future. In some cases, such as RvB or This Spartan Life, we are contacted up front and we have worked out specific arrangements to facilitate these types of projects.
