In Response To: Ahhh. Wow this is front page 4 sure. *NM* (ll Sgt Scope ll) There's no WAY I'm front-paging a 400 MB movie without explicit permission from the hosts. Let's say 2000 people try and download it in the first 24 hours or so (that's nowhere near an unreasonable number for an average download, though it might be a little high for a 400 megger) - that's almost a terabyte of bandwidth in a really short time. Even hosts that have allowances bigger than that can piss off the datacenters they're hosted in by pegging a 100Mbit line for a day. Not to mention the fact that it's 46 minutes long... I haven't seen it, but I'm having trouble imagining the draw in 46 straight minutes of tricking. Maybe that's just me, though. |
