"Infinite Succor" does far more than give Half-Jaw a name and a back story; It gives information about the Flood that is not in evidence in either of the first two games. Think the Flood are just space zombies? This story will change your mind. And if Bungie -- who kept a close eye on these tales -- wanted to introduce a new side of the Flood, it's likely to play some factor in the next game.
