In Response To: The Answer *IMG* (The Freeloader) And suddenly hunters grow more and more odd. Not only do we have pairs of large masses of sentient worms who form a hive mind and are conscious enough to recognize other species and differentiate between them (Homo Sapiens from Sangheili), they also have emotions (rage, attachment), have group cognitive ability (The Covenant, or siding with one particular side when the Covenant falls apart) and form a rather unique and incredibly strong attachment to members of their own species. In addition, by the way, they seem to have a fondness for running around with armor plating, large metallic shields the equivalent of the armor off a small warship and finally fuel rod cannons seemingly permanently attached to said armor plating... oh, and they also come in multiple varieties. Yay! So the question becomes, I think, are there multiple types simply for gameplay purposes (a method of controlling the difficulty of each encounter), or if there's actually something storywise to one being stronger then another, consistently? | |
