Yeah, I thought you were an asshole too, but you proved me totally wrong. It was a pretty cool experience to meet you and everyone else there, especially the new faces, that's always the best part of a LAN. Many thanks to Deanero and his wife for letting us crash there and being such awesome hosts.

Thanks to everyone for all the responses, good to know that most of you are behind me. Except Stuntmutt, who will be dealt with.

And... yeah, Washington and Redmond are beautiful, hasn't even rained yet and I've been here 22 hours. Mt. Rainier is crazy huge. Connecticut is full of hills, but that's a fucking mountain. The layout of Redmond is really cool (and I'm told Kirkland is the same), it's like a heavily industrialized suburb, all the convenience of a city without a lot of the ugliness, I'll definitely like it out here.
