: Oh and... this looks like the panels on the "Ark"
: Tell me what you think! I totally think that the Forerunner ship is meant to dock with the Ark. Why else would Truth go tearing toward our planet with a ship that FITS INTO THE HOLE?! I mean, as those who have seen the Halo 2 cutscenes involving the vessel would know, it has 3 (uno, dos, tres, Paco, make a note of it) fin/thruster/pointy-outy things. It's easy to see in the Halo 3 trailer that, when the Ark opens up and that blue light starts coming out, there are 3 separate panels and therefore 3 gaps between them, laid out in the exact same shape and configuration as the ship. Also, we have to remember the size of said ship. The Holy City of High Charity has to be pretty damn big (looks like a hemisphere of a moon, for Pete's sake) and the ship takes up a pretty big chunk out of the hemisphere's base surface area. A chunk that probably fits right into the Ark, nice and snug. Now, is it LIKELY that this is mere coincidence? Yeah, no. I suggest that the ship is some sort of component of the Ark- maybe just the garage door remote, considering that the Ark only just opened when the ship got to Earth. I mean, if the Ark and Halos are so important to the Covenant, why in the world would they keep an enormous ship in their capitol city for any other reason? Sure, maybe the birds can poop on it, but there has to be a reason for it being there other than decoration. It must've taken up a lot of space that could have been used for buildings. Anywho, there's my opinion. What's the word, people? |
