I like Frankie, the more ruthless-sarcasm I see, the more I like him. One thing that does piss me off though, (and yes, I'm being a 'moaning-scouse') is that a good friend of mine (okay, brother-like figure) hasn't received his personal Mister Chief drawing from him yet. Back in June/July, Frankie ran a little contest in one of the 'Weekly What's Updates' that said that the person who designs the best Mister Chief car on Forza Motorsport, gets a personalised hand-drawn Mister Chief as a prize. I was also disappointed to see it didn't get a mention here on HBO, when many other less-interesting news items (my opinion) did. If you don't believe that it's good, feel free to add me on Live (JAY132) and I'll show you it (or even sell you a copy!). It's raced against none other than CJ Cowan, and pwnedizzled him! So please guys (I've dug out the related thread, the link to which is at the bottom of this post), give him a belated mention on here (HBO), and a simple acknowledgement to his PM's wouldn't go amiss either! I'd hate it if this were to sound selfish, but Halo is our favourite pastime/hobby. I've logged so many hours playing it on Live, that even I wouldn't want to know the total amount. We love everything to do with it, and piss ourselves laughing every week seeing Frankie (and occasionally Sketch) go off on a rant which tells us nothing about their next project (and this isn't sarcasm, we really do find it funny). We're buying an Xbox 360 on launch day, and the main reason for it IS to play Bungie's next project (and for me, plugging in my iPod). As much as we enjoy playing Forza, Splinter Cell etc, it's only through Halo that we even knew about them other games in the first place. Please don't take or perceive this as an arrogant, or even sarcastic rant (and I'm definitely not sucking-up, not in the slightest!) but I admire people even more when they're honest and atleast reply to enquiries. Now my friend hasn't put me up to this, this is just me looking to see if he gets his coveted prize, and maybe a worthy mention here on HBO. Apologies for not doing this earlier, but after nearly 4 months of hearing nothing, getting no reply, I just wanted to try and refresh peoples memories (I know how busy the people involved are). | |
