You know I totally agree with you on this. Granted I'm still awestruck after believing for the past 3 years that it wasn't going to happen, and now finding out it is.
My faith is placed in Bungie, and I do believe that they have handled the whole production process a lot differently than other video-to-movies in the past. They are not letting this one off the leash if you will. I think the movie studios will know what's best for a movie, but Bungie hasn't let us (their fans) down. I want to see what this product of this collaboration is going to be like.

ps you know in the article on bungie.net about the movie? Where Joe references the comic strip? I'm wondering if he's taking a shot at the armor as well...just wondering because those aren't pictures of armor from the game. ;)
