I strongly agreed that a simple server list would be a nice feature for halo 2 on xbox live. I bought my copy on november 9th, and on november 10th i was wondering why they didnt have a server list. The "virtual" couch just didnt pan out the way I had pictured it. It would be extremely nice to be able to sort a list of custom games by what game type, map, and perhaps average player level.

wait a minute? doesnt xbox connect do those things?

the problem is that xbox connect has other problems. It doesnt do the all-important connection speed matching that is done by matchmaking, and it doesnt effectively match players by skill either. However, I am more and more attracted to XBC, because I can find the exact gametype I am looking for much faster....

and about the cheaters, they are not creative at all. There is one or two people out there who are the creative modders, probably modding for LAN parties. these guys are cool, and creative. But there are THOUSANDS of people who download those mods for the purpose of ruining the live experience for others. This is why bungie is banning them: because they are runing the community.
