Just one thing that I haven't seen written anywhere: Have you contacted your local consumer protection agency? It seems ludicrous that your hosting service reserves the right to alter the fees without notifying you or letting you decline the changes to the contract. When you signed up for hosting you entered into a legal agreement. Now, I find it very difficult to believe that an agreement that can be endlessly altered by one part is considered legal. At the very least, any change to the contract must be signed by both parties.
