There is a ton of great Brute, Elite and Grunt dialogue left to be found. I wrote down all Covenant dialogue as I heard it.

The Grunts alone have over 600 different spoken word snippets, I'm not including whines and squeals in that total.

The Brutes have at least 350, some of which deal with the strangest addition in Halo 2, the revelation that Jackals and Brutes eat the other races of Covenant.

: The IWHBYD skull isn't helping because the characters just don't live long
: enough (on legendary) to talk. If the IWHBYD skull was available on any of
: the other difficulty setting, recording the dialogue would be better
: because the characters would live longer.

That skull isn't necessary to hear 95% of the dialogue I've compiled. You don't need to be on legendary, I play on heroic almost exclusively, otherwise the Elites slaughter the Brutes.

The hardest and most fun part is protecting the Grunts. The insults hurled between the races during battles are a joy to behold.
