It's pretty much been a thing for me to go and buy old science fiction books. If it's off of the Internet or just roaming around a Goodwill, I look for the old books.
A friend of mine gave me Ender's Game. Last month, after I recieved my haircut, I found the final book in the Ender series, Children of the Mind. Awesome. Two more to go.
Now, I'm thinking about buying Ringworld by Larry Niven. Cheers, congrats, yeah, yeah.... looking for a genuine, unique and legit book that's in great condition. There's just so many choices, among the sequels as well... http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/search-handle-form/103-2279500-5829406
Which one do I pick?
Ok. I remember this book StarHammer that mnemesis mentioned to me years ago.... http://forums.bungie.org/halo/archive11.pl?read=327609
Other than my younger self in that post, I still haven't gotten that book yet, but there are still several at amazon.com. This is one of the books (or the series in general) that offered its influences on the game, correct?
Again, thanks, mnemesis for the help that night a while back. It's been really helpful.
