My daughter left for a week in : Washington, DC (first plane trip alone for her), so I was up to the : airport this morning (it's an hour away, plus hand-holding time). Then the : book fair started at school, my wife runs it, some moron at Scholastic : changed her entry last week to say that she didn't want books today, she : wanted them next week - so after she got some emergency help getting the : books delivered, I spent the last 4 hours helping her unpack them (all the : volunteers she had lined up for the morning were not available this : evening). In the middle there, I gave blood. Bottom line - I haven't been : around very much. (Yeah, there are some clients upset about THAT, too.) : I'll do my best to get something up this evening. Thank you again for inviting us. We had the best of times playing upstairs. Downstairs ...not so much. Nevertheless, thanks for opening your house to us. It's always great to see you, Miguel, KP, NoF, Blood, Miguels son who beat our ass in some Halo 1 games, Furhman for his funny laugh (a few others). Goodtimes. I had never played a 16 player game of Halo 1 till your lans, and that was really the only time I ever got to. So the Lans have some fuzzy nostalgia for me, and I missed not being able to do that. The Halo 1 games that I did play were great, I came home on Sunday and played XBC with my brother - even while playing JayWhy came in and we played some games. Fun stuff. So Thank You again Claude. You are the best. That sucks that the Lans may be canceled but I don't blame you. I surely wouldn't want to go out of my way to invite people into my house and have that happen. Thank you again. You do run the best Lans out there. Take care.
