I used Vegas Video 5 (expensive but well worth the money :P)
My capture card is a Radeon TV wonder Pro (which I bought and took home, only to find out it was incompatible with my Nvidia Ti-4400 video card) and a Radeon 9600XT video card.

The music was from Armageddon, its the song that plays at the beginning as that asteroid hits the earth, and then the final part is Maw from the Halo 1 soundtrack.
