I just read the interview on xbox.ign.com Gotta love this quote... "I see that music for Xbox is going to be amazing, and it's going to really take off, because as I said audio for console games has not traditionally been great." Despite the fact that he goes on to acknowledge that they are some great people out there working in a "small box" of other consoles I gotta say it sounds like he may be getting his head into the clouds a bit here. As someone who has been buying game soundtracks since the days of SNES there has always been great music on consoles! And to say that today's consoles are limiting shows that he's never checked out a PS2 or Dreamcast! I haven't been following this whole Bungie/MS thing really closely but it sounds like if he works there, he's a full on evangelist or he's trying to get a job. Sorry Marty. You come off like a conceited jerk and any respect I had for you as a musician is down the toilet. Have a nice life in that suit and tie. j | |
