A few points for consideration:

1. The people of Bungie have done extraordinary work in the past
2. We are all fired up because of the promise of their current projects
3. The statements from Bungie have been consistent:

- There are just a few people on the Dev teams and they have a lot on their plates

- They are now intimately involved in the creation of X-box and will be producing games for that device

- They are faced with a massive upheaval in moving to Redmond

- They haven't yet made plans about Halo in theur new context and haven't quite figured out how that's going to work.

On the basis of point 1, I give them the benefit of the doubt. Point 2 is not affected by the sale. Personally, when I consider changes of similar magnitude in my own life, I find the statements in point 3 credible. Have you ever been through a major relocation? Left a position as an free operator to become an employee? Lighten up. Keep the faith.

If it should happen that Bungie/M$BS screws us, then we can make plans to nuke them from orbit.
