As is said in the Halo Art Book, Lekgolos are a collection of little worms that are orange. Thusly, their limbs would be orange. The only reason we never see that is because of their armor, but it's more likely that they are orang with brown spikes, and they probably had some sort of grey body-shell (doesn't really matter on the shell.) before aquired by the covenant.
