In Response To: About the Longevity of HBO (ARCHANGEL 7) : I was just questioning the mortality of this website and of the Halo : community at whole. I mean, how long can Halo stay popular? It could just : be another fad, but I believe it will live longer than that. We can be : sure that Halo will be surpassed, and we will just be left to the wind. : What will we do, a pillar of our lives gone? We can go on, sure, but what : will come of our memories? How long do we have untill Halo discs end up in : a deserted landfill? How long untill kids of tomorrow today scoff at an : Xbox and say, "You have to use your hands? It's like a babies : toy!"? The clock is ticking, and it's only a manner of time untill : something like a game reaper comes upon the wonderful war-filled universe : of MC's. I wonder what the future holds. i fear that i will still be looking back on halo with fond memories and talking about it long into the future. and then every1's gonna look at me like im one of those star trek nerds who stalk the movie stars and who have just about turned it into a religion. hopefully bungie will go on to make another good game after halo 3. preferably a FPS but i like RPG's too, and the community can just sort of move over to it.
