Throwing Down the Gauntlet

I am detecting some bad vibes in the community. Strange murmurings that haunt the air like a poor rationale. Yes, that is it. It is the sound of the wide gate opening and of steps falling on the broad path. It is true that Bungie has built Halo 2 with the uninitiated as well as the experienced in mind. But perhaps it is not merely a matter of what we, the Community, are allowed to do, but what we should aspire to do. With reasons that none can truly understand, the first option for many will be to easily jump and skip to the game's conclusion; we will speak no more of these. Many more will test the waters on normal, if for other reason than to get a handle on the controls and the new gameplay characteristics. There is no shame here. For others, a more difficult road lies ahead; one full of heroic effort and sacrifice. And while these are commendable paths, I believe there is yet a higher calling. I challenge anyone who is willing or able to complete Halo 2 for the first time, either alone or with a friend co-operatively, while playing all levels only on Legendary. Who will rise to the occasion? :) Finn
