In Response To: Forum names *OT* (PingOfDeath) Well, not that long actually. See it all started about, oh say 6 years ago on the Interstate 82 Initiative board(can I get a hell yeah?). The game turned out to be horrible, but the board where we hashed out ideas and features that we'd like to see in the game was awesome. Anyways, when I first started there I went by one of my I'76 names: (of which I had many) grey lemur. I realized that name was kind of lame, and I was tired of people calling me "grey" or "lemur" instead of my proper, full, name(as you might have noticed I'm a stickler for the proper spelling of my name: it's stan not Stan) And since I had decided to restrict my other internet alias "cubanfob" to chat and instant messaging functions and not taint it with my internet gaming activites (back then I didn't really play the games so much as goof off and mess with people), I came up with stan. It's short, simple, hard to mess up yet memorable and easily recognizable in a venue where names like "133t DeaThSquaDfRagalR8r" are not uncommon. And so, stan I was and stan I have been for 6 years now.
