Let me relate a small story to you...

Seven years ago, in the wind-swept town of Beddington, little Gavin woke up on Christmas morning and rushed downstairs to see what Father Christmas had left. He squealed (ahem)with delight when he found glorious gifts such as books and a LEGO set.
Among the strangest of presents was a small spider which had a small piece of string protruding from it. However, this was no ordinary spider, as when the string was pulled and released, the spider scuttered across the table with great speed.

Later that day, as young Gavin was building his new lego set, he noticed that it included fibre-optic cables to give his dragster a spectacular light effect (Spectacular for a 9 year old). Upon his table also layer his amusing spider toy. A word suddenly popped into his head Spider-optics. "Where had this new name come from?" he asked.
Well it appears little Gavin had substituted 'spider' for 'fibre' and come up with a new word. Gavin Like his new word, so much so, that he has remembered it to this very day.

Oh yeah, now some Texan company has stolen my name to use on some dodgy lighting gear in helicopters or something like that. My lawyers have been entered into the proceedings. Or might it be a coincidence?
