Hmmm... so you're saying that someone/something, perhaps Forerunner in nature or being, looked at Enkidu and then took part of him/her/it -self, combined the two, and thus begat a new AI? I'm thinking that Enkidu found, among other things, a Forerunner copy program on Frigid. (The reason it doesn't work so well, I'm guessing, is that the processor architecture in a Covenant system is different enough to screw up the results of the program.) By using this copy program, Enkidu would have reproduced asexually (that is, without sex of any kind).
