In Response To: Re: new enkidu terminal (IAmDelta) : "!~$%@--- [transfer interrupted] : (Enough of that racket..." : I find it interesting that Enkidu was able to cut the Covie transmission off
: Also, nice find MadThief. I saw "embedded message" in the meta, but
: Since it pops up again, I thought I'd also mention this again:
: There might be a fundamental flaw in all of this, but it seems pretty solid.
Something struck me as odd... This quote in particular: "Looking upon holy relics is forbidden for your kind." That quote right there gives off signs that this whole damn war is over humanity expanding through space, ironically getting on new planet lands that according to Covenant gods, is means for destruction. Funny this new chapter (which oddly plays out like in Marathon) is named Appetite for Destruction. Looks like the hero's been to Frigid, and is still on it, getting ready to kick Covenant ass, and from the looks of it, he/she/it should have enough weaponry to hold off the Covenant for a couple of hours at the most...unless it's JAMES. Even if it is a Spartan that got lucky and was stationed on the Lebanon, He's still got the Flood to go through, if they're on Frigid, and worse, the Covenant in position to destroy Frigid. Still has to do what a Spartan/Human/Cyborg's gotta do for his own kind. One last thing... YAY, PORTABLE TERMINALS!...meaning it might possible for Enkidu to beam this hero onboard the Sword of Justice, as does Durandal a couple centuries later does, allowing him to attempt to take the ship over or kill the Prophet onboard or both maybe...if there is one... Or maybe he could teleport the hero onboard when the Sword of Justice lands, looking for Covenant and Human survivors. But that would require Frigid to have enough power as Halo. Maybe Frigid is LIKE Halo, although the firing mechanism is inside the planet. Last and not least, this. "Portable Terminal CC Tycho/Howard out, mmmmmmmmmmaaaaaaaannnnnnnnn!
