In Response To: Lethal Rage 3 (Pico) : So what did you guys think? I told you it would be good ;) : If you haven't seen it, go to the HBO main page. : Trust me, it is worth the download. : PiCo is the 1337 Movie Maker great video, very nicely done, but I will give you a critique of what I found in it. Microphone distance. try moving the mike farther away next time, voices were spiking on my audio monitor. Also is regard to the voicing, you should have run it through an effects processor to make it fit in better, it currently seems a bit out of place in the video. a bit of Lo-Fi could help you, as someone else has said. Shot composition while in general VERY well done with the cinematography and editing, there were a few shots where the was not enough screen space in front of a moving character, creating the appearance of running at a wall of the screen see 06:23 (no exact frame numbers right now, sorry!) for a specific example of what I mean. The opening banshee shot is kinda rough at the start. you might want to shorten it a bit by taking off a bit of the beginning of said shot. it really is an amazing video, and after viewing The Lethal Rage and, Lethal Rage 2, I can see your progression as an editor and cinematographer. | |
