I'm not really sure what the problem is, here. 'Industry member' means 'member of the Interactive Entertainment Media industry'. You either work for a company that in some way is related to video games, or go to a school that's closely-enough tied to the industry (in a degree program that's relevant) that you can get a pass. How hard is that to understand? And while it's been shown in the past that you can fudge, to some degree, your industry qualiifications, one thing they're SERIOUSLY hardline about is the 18-year-old minimum age. If you're under 18, don't bother, it's not worth it. So for you, personally, this is a purely intellectual exercise; you can't go. For folks who MEET the age requirement, there is a clear page on the E3 website detailing what is acceptable as 'industry identification'. If you have it... great. If you don't have it, but think you can get it... great. If you can't get it... you can't get in. It's pretty simple. No mysteries. |
