In Response To: Once in a while Screenshots VII *IMG* (XLNC) : Hello, and welcome to my 7th attempt at International stardom. Going with : Bungie tradition, the 7th installment of anything has to be extra special. : And this installment is even more special because, one year ago today, I : made my first post here at HBO. Not much has changed, I'm even more : addicted to Halo now, and I took a bunch of biggg screenshots. :) : Onto the screens themselves, it only seemed right to offer Seven screenshots : rather than four. And on some of them, I couldn't make up my mind on which : angle I liked better, so Louis was kind enough to host both. Below the : first three images, you will see links to alternate angle shots. : First, a sniper shot taken on Two Betrayals. I tried to brighten up this pic, : but unfortunately it might still be too dark for some montiors. : : Alternate Shot w/ Grunt. : : MarkHawk who posted his own HUDless shots a while ago, has made this skin : mod for Marines and some weapons. His inspiration was from the early E3 : 2000 video, where the AR was two toned. I personally think the mod is kick : ass. : : Alternate Shot w/ Jackals. : : Heh, people wanted some action shots. I'm working on some real action : shots, but this shot has a lot of action in it. Looks like someone turned : off gravity on Halo. Orrr...someone swapped assault rifle bullets with : rockets. :P : : Alternate Angle. : : Yayap is due for a wake up call, Zuka 'Zukamee and his assistant Asti : 'Lobudee are about to give him a rude awakening. : : : This shot is directly from the cutscene from AotCR. Ok, I know there was no : effort needed in taking screens from cinematics, but the end result is : just soo darned.....cinematic! This screen perfect as a desktop, line up : the icons up top, maybe put a Halo logo or a caption on the bottom. God : bless Bungie. : : : We all like to see Master Chief kickin ass, but let's face it, he does get : pwned every once in a while on Legendary. Here is a particular instance: : : This shot here, I thought it was hilarious. Not necessarily desktop material, : but it's just so amazing how these funny things happen in the game. : : That's all for today. Can't believe I've have been here for one year, but I : have grown as a Halo fan, and it feels great to give a little something to : the community. Next time, the screens will be a lot more different. I'm : trying my hand at real action shots. : -XLNC Nice :) i know what u mean, about feeling like giving something to the hbo community. all i have is a trik once inna blue moon ;( i find that the contributions tend to even out. writers, haxors,modders, pic takers, forum warmers... kinda neet, how everyone, is his or her own way, fills the gaps.
