: Good point though - if historically flawed.

The point is correct that the Roman soldiers did build the wall as part of an occupational therapy (something to do), but the reason for building the wall is as you said, plus the wall was built over a hundred years after the time the HSP post notes.

Darn, nothing here to correct you on... Crumpet. :)
