I can't understand how that could be an influence, or the media blaming Doom for the columbine massacre. They're games where you shoot aliens that don't even exist. I can understand people raising an eyebrow at Grand Theft Auto, Silent Scope, or Virtua Cop. At least that type of connection would be grounded in reality, but this is just ridiculous. : I hate to see Halo become associated with real-world violence, especially on
