Same result here on both counts. Frustrating as hell! For those who need a little help getting to this point read on for my instructions on performing the mods without an actual PC. Instructions on performing the mods from a Mac with Virtual PC:
What I did was copied the new putput file in to Virtual PC and then, accessing the original putput file via that Shared Folder again I copied the new one over top of the old one (this way, on the Mac side of things the resource fork still has a file to latch on to). The icon was correct, the file size was correct, but just as what happened to you, as soon as I go to load the actual level it crashes out of the app. Also as you say, leaving the old putput file in place the Chiron level loads fine. So much work to get these things patched and for nothing :( Anyone, anyone out there have any ideas?? - Jeff
