Cause right now I'm thinking its all some pretty nice BS. It's in the level, but it's not placed in the level. You can't just go looking for it and find one. You can, however, hex edit the map file so that one of the weapons are replaced by the flamethrower. Actually, I haven't been keeping up with this thread very much, so I'm not sure if there is a patch for it, but if there is, you can just apply it to the map file. (be sure to back it up first)
