As far as cheating in terms of finding eggs goes, texture eggs were meant to be discovered via looking for them within the game. So, it's kinda like cheating when you pull the textures from the game and examine them. At least, I think so. It's like when the kid used a trainer to get passed the invincible marines to see the Megg. That's part of finding it, you know?

I agree. I realize though, that there are people who haven't played Halo, who are going to realize the beauty of it when it hits shelves for PC. Until that wave has passed, I'd say "spoilers" still applies.
