Yeah, was just ab out to say that - that's how I saw my first Magic Eye when they first came out, but thing is - once you've seen in once, it's easy. Like, if I recall it took me well over half an hour the first time, but now I can see them within something stupid like 2 seconds. As Dave said, you can either concentrate on a reflection in teh background, which is how first saw a glimpse of 3d, but my own breakthrough came doing what Shishkabab said, and getting up close and personal with the image and moving out slowly, letting my eyes cross. It may have also helped that my first MEye book had explanations on how the thing works uising simple examples like rose cliparts in a row spaced differently -- once you learn to do it, you'll notice that the ghost roses cross over and overlap the ones next to them, and depending on distance are either far away or close. This is how the big pictures work on a more miniscule level I believe. Anyway, nice one - that image is going on my desktop to replace even that new hi-res Halo PC shot inside the PoA. :)
