Just saw this at the core. I'm stealing someone else' post, I get no credit.
"Just got the latest issue of IMG in and it contained a fairly lengthy Macworld video. The last interview on the video is with Joeseph staten of Bungie. About half of the interview s on Oni (he mentions that Bungie was going to make a release date announcent about the game about a month after the expo. Looks like they missed the release date date ;).
The last two questions are Halo Specific, Here's the transcript!
"Zack Stern: What's going on with Halo now? I know there was a great demo in Macworld New York but I haven't seen much about it here Where is that in development?
Joe: Well after macworld New York Jason and the rest of the guys on the team ripped the code apart. They're basically starting from scratch in a number of different areas. Halo's alive and well It's just rooted very deep in development right now and theirs not a build put together.
Zack: Well was there any reason why it had to be ripped apart? was their problems with it? or just making improvements?
Joe: A lot of times when we big pr things like macworld or E3 we put together a build that's for show. It's not the real build that's gonna ship and that build was lumping a lot of things together in a local folder nothing permanent."
Nothing new, but good to know that they're working on it (like they weren't ;))
