Yeah, some people think that rice kills birds or something... No, wait, that wasn't rice, that was when we threw alka-seltzer at my cousin's wedding. Not very romantic. Other variations on rice include: Birdseed (to atone for all the birds lost over the years to rice, I guess), glitter (not popular with the church custodian), and snowballs (my cousin's wedding again. God, my family rules.)
