Actually computer use among women has cought up with use among men. My wife has completely taken over our home desktop Mac - I'm now relegated to using my PowerBook - thank God for Airport (actually, thank Steve Jobs and the IEEE standards committee for Wi-Fi).
Anyway, there have been studies of this. Women play video games just as frequently as men do, but their interests are very different. Women tend to like puzzels and shy away from action games. Internet-based card games are very popular among women. I guess SheBob is an exception. In any case, we don't see women in the forum because we're a bunch of geeks. But some women like geeks - I got mine ;-)
