Does the marine ever have a choice? Although Moo is all about the marine choosing the right path to save the universe, the player never has much of a choice. You either succeed in your mission, or keep trying until you do. Occasionally, there is an opportunity to go to a secret level 8^D or to go back and repeat part of the game :-P, but there is no real choice, and the final outcome doesn't even depend on how successful you are. You're told to hurry in Aye Mak Sicur, but does it make any difference if you take all year to finish the level? No! Some of the more interesting 3rd party scenarios do attempt to provide some degree of choice or consequences for your actions. In Marathon Fell, for example, the player has a choice of following one or the other AI. You're still somewhat constrained in your options, but there is a choice. In Rubicon, there are multiple points at which your path depends on your success in the mission, and there definitely is a time component. So would the marine willingly follow Durandal and pull Leela's plug? That depends on whether or not he's given a choice - do what Durandal says, or help Leela escape and hunt down Durandal instead. Sounds like an interesting plot for another 3rd party scenario.
