	Chance discovery?

	In Response To: Re: Another justification of Google's existence: (SiliconDream =PN=) Could this "chance discovery" really be the coverup of a few suggestions or hints made the Jjaro who stopped by to pick our the dreaming god? There appear to be possible theories to go with this idea. Either: 1) The Jjaro gave the tech and knowledge to humanity for them to implement, the knowledge of which was covered up for most of a century, or... 2) The coding principles the Jjaro gave us to set the whole Durandel rampancy into motion could not be acted upon for a hundred years because human technology was no advanced enough. I favor the second. I mean, honestly, human technology pales horribly in comparison to that of every alien race we encounter in this series. How could our programmers still be so superior to that of our enemies that we could create Rampancy on our own? So, the Jjaro leave us the plans, which we interpret a hundred years later, once our technology catches up somewhat, into AI's capable of rampancy. I wonder if they just happened to leave a few hints about reanimating fallen warriors as well. Of course, Durandel, and therefore the other AI's and the Phfor and S'Pht knew nothing of this, since the government would keep it as secret as possible. Durandel apparently even knew nothing of the earlier appearance of the Jjaro, although I assume that could be argued. Just an idea ;-) Darks
