In Response To: Re: Rubicon Volunteers - Just a Little Further (Scifiteki)

: Yes, it's very interesting, and relevant in a way. After a bit of puttering
: around, if found...
: it's the first line from Othello, Act 1 Scene 2. The full speech is: IAGO:
: Though in the trade of war I have slain men,
: Yet do I hold it very stuff o' the conscience
: To do no contrived murder: I lack iniquity
: Sometimes to do me service: nine or ten times
: I had thought to have yerk'd him here under the ribs.

More Insight:
From what I can deduce, by this part of the play, Othello, that spunk of a guy, has already seduced somebody's daughter. I think Iago refers here to RODERIGO, another character who is in love with the girl Othello is having intimate relations with. I think.

Another Useless Fact From,
Scifiteki
