Hmm.. The MML for Rubicon AO wasn't written by the "regular" Rubicon team. The slave goes through an "attack" sequence when it looks at the player, but it doesn't actually attack - not in the regular version. Apparently this attack is a bug in the AO Light MML-code. I dislike the AO Light version more and more. It started out as an afterthought to prevent players from making a half-assed AO version on their own before we made the "full" AO version (which is probably not going to happen - not unless more work is done on the OS X version of AO). It completely screws up the visuals in the "Things may happen" levels, and now this. Chuck the AO Light version and play the original instead - assuming you have Marathon Infinity, that is. |
