: 2) Which old Mac OS version should I run? : Your kind guidance is appreciated! Mr. Smith, Any post 1995 Mac is going to run all three Marathons and PID at a fairly decent lick. There are problems with running the games with Mac OS X. A much bigger problem for me is M1 and Quicktime 3.0 and above. The Marathon background music will only sound as it should with QT 2.5. You can grab this off the FAQ section of the Story page. If you getting a Mac to only play Marathon then I suggest installing QT2.5 rather than any later version. For true Marathon purity install System 7. ;-) Cheers
