Would this not be better off posted at HBO as well? You're more likely to get a better response. I believe there are quite a few people here who haven't played the game yet, including myself, so we're not going to be much use.
Unless there is some in-game info on Flood types the only other source of info is probably going to be the Official Halo Strategy Guide. I wonder what it says? The Halo manual contains no info on the Flood that I can see.
