In Response To: Volunteers after Infinity (Tim Frede) If there's going to be a Volunteers series for third-party scenarios, the logical next step would probably be Evil, simply because it's a classic scenario and still fun to play. Although there's no in-depth plot to analyze like in the original trilogy, the level design is some of the best of any scenario, even on par with Bungie's games in some respects. It also seems to be more attached to the Marathon universe than other scenarios such as RED and Excalibur. Of course, on that last point Rubicon is probably continues the original trilogy more than any other scenario, but I personally don't like how Rubicon attempts to tie up the loose ends in the Marathon Trilogy, especially in regards to Bernhard Strauss. |
