Maybe I could be wrong, but I believe that "Toadkiller Dog" was someone at Bungie's normal username for all Marathon net games.. (even in Marathon 1.. as documented by the films). I believe it was Doug Zartman? Someone correct me here.. I could be completely wrong, but I think you can trace it back at least *that* far.
