You don't seem to know much about Bungie culture. That message was attributed to the Bungie Webmaster: a fictional character with no name whose only job is to be a total degenerate, write as many sarcastic and mean-spirited responses to his letters as possible, and have sex with your mom. He wears only socks and buzzsaw underpants below his waist (except while jetpacking, when he wears a gorilla suit), has court-ordered psychiatrist appointments, and is prohibited by law "from getting closer than 5 miles from any institute of learning." On the other hand, did you ever read this more recent interview with an actual, breathing, working Bungie employee? http://www.insidemacgames.com/features/00/seropian/ "I’m hoping at some point in the future that we’ll be able to do something with Marathon and really make it the biggest thing ever. But we have no plans to make a Marathon game at this point, but we could...and wouldn’t that be cool." : Though given the average age of everybody reading this
OK, I think we've seen enough. This person is coming to a Marathon discussion forum when he doesn't like Marathon, hates Marathon fandom, and doesn't seem to have anything to contribute except voicing these opinions and trying to deflate people's speculations. (If he's posted something on-topic and constructive, I'd love to see it.) Now, he's making personal attacks on everyone else here. His unusual attention to spelling and capitalization disguises it, but he looks like a troll to me, and I propose that he be banned, or at least given a first warning from the administration. This forum is intended for delving into the obscurer aspects of Marathon's Story, not debating the game's merits. I didn't establish the forum, but it's pretty obvious from the title and placement. |
