	In Response To: Poll: Future of Earth (Anthony Surace) : I was wondering, what in your opinion would Earth's future in Marathon look : like graphically? What do you think Earth would have evolved into after : time in the Marathon universe. Any feedback will be appreciated. Hmmm... That's actually an interesting question, really. What did Earth look like while everybody's favourite hunk o' rock was trundling over to Tau Ceti, and then during the almost certain war with the Phfor? Well, we know a few things about this world, perhaps, from little extacts from terms relating back to events on Earth and Mars. (Anyone who has greater basic knowledge about this, feel free to elaborate). We know that Space is basically completely colonised. Even the asteroids are colonised, and Mars is probably pretty developed. So, the solar system is probably a busy place, what with ships buzzing around all the time. Heck, they even turned a small moon into an spaceship, that takes no small amount of effort... : ) Most of the inhabited planets seem to have a highly networked enviroment, probably more so than the Marathon, although maybe on a similar, term-based technolgy. Earth citizens also probably enjoy a degree of cybernetic enhancement, although nothing on the player's scale. After all, if they can completely refit a person, humans would never be able to resist a little tinkering. It's unclear how widespread AI technolgy is. Certainly, the Marathon had three AI's all to itself, but I'm not sure wether this was the same elsewhere, at least at the time of the Marathon's launching. However, the technology might have spread, despite the threat of Rampancy, to become common. That's all I can think of for now, but thanks for the question. It was fun answering it.
