	...sounds like Typo. By the end of the series, the H in "Bernhard" had become de rigueur... but there is a pattern to when it's misspelled early on. Tycho is apparently the only one who could never get this right: He has been rampant for years~@%&&&HJGPPPPPPP#&34 ^`Bernard St~~~ - Defend THIS! (Terminal 3) I want you to find a friend of mine. I must know if he is dead. His name is Bernhard Strauss. - No Artificial Colors (Terminal 1, Unfinished) Bernhard Strauss was not among any of the captives that you found. That is unfortunate. ... I am sending you back to the Alien ship to try and rescue Bernhard ... - No Artificial Colors (Terminal 1, Success) The following is from the logs of Bernard Strauss, the Marathon's first science director: - Beware of Low-Flying Defense Drones... (Terminal 2) Did the misprint originate in that log? Is that where Tycho got his information? Moving on, in M2 Durandal manages to misplace the contentious letter. Could he have been mocking his rival? Berhnard was scared of you. - Nuke and Pave (Terminal 1) Either way, it looks like someone finally took the hint... Bernhard was constantly having me do redirect-subterfuge work back on Mars... - Acme Station (Terminal 0, Success) pr?yes, yes, yes, Bernhard, 110? - Hang Brain (Terminal 1, Unfinished) Pride falls hard, the bright son of Bernhard is dying. - Foe Hammer (Terminal 0) Hey, the number of unexplored mysteries to play with has shrunk precipitously, and I'm not exactly up to debating the motives of the Jjaro... :)
