Security Chief Jones might have been on the Marathon : before the Pfhor invasion, but it could likely be that he doesn't exist in : the Marathon universe that we know. : In Infinity, the only humans named are Lieutenant Kent (Naw Man He's Close) : and "Jetty" [and the others] (Naw Man He's Close). On the subject of names in the Marathon series it's interesting to note that back in Aug '97 I asked the following question as part of "The Summertime Blues Competition". "Throughout the three Marathon games a number of the colonists are actually named. Can you list them all? First or last names will do. Could there be more than seven?"
