Speak for yourself, dude. "Everyone" doesn't recognise those as dual-wielding, because I sure as hell don't. Having to keep track of which weapon has how many shots left and being able to strategically decide to fire one weapon rather than the other at a given time so you can choose when to reload is part of Marathon's metagame. Of course they're not comparable.
