It's a nice bit of news but I'm trying to not get my hopes up.
I'm sure Bungie has done dozens to hundreds of game mockups and prototypes over the years that never went anywhere. Maybe somebody threw the logo in for giggles and Robt was like "KKV4LYFE" and uploaded a weapon model and here we are.

I know, right? Talk about a drip-feed, lol.
I was pretty chuffed when they dropped some new text on Marathon in Destiny 2.

Tycho connected to Callieach? Hadn't heard that one before.

I remember when the rumor mill was flying in 2004, saying that the Flood was Durandal after he escaped the (Marathon) universe crunch. Good times.
