Putting the response above the quote is new. I'll imitate it just to be annoying. Steam existed 10 years ago, but not in the same shape. I wouldn't touch it because of all the DRM keeping you from having the games you bought. GOG will let you copy that floppy as much as you're inclined, but you only get perks like achievements and other downloads for adding a game to you gog galaxy library, which is a way better way of handling it IMO, and I'll stop now before I sound like a shill with brand-loyalty.
